Sales Operations Internship—St. Paul, MN

Job Summary

The Sales Operations Intern will assist the Paradigm and JIST sales teams with timely and effective support to ensure sales goals are met and exceeded within assigned sales territories. Supports the sales team by assisting with new sales leads, managing the correspondence between the sales team and school personnel; tracking accounts in Salesforce; and creating and providing data and reports to help the sales team, managing regional tradeshows and event planning, and data mining.

Assist the Paradigm and JIST Sales and Marketing Departments with the following:

  • Assist with registering and securing exhibit space, shipping products, and entering leads for Paradigm tradeshows.
  • Assist in supporting account and sales managers in answering inquiries related to product, inventory, orders, website, special pricing, comp requests and other related sales activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and effectively utilize customer lists and databases. Review, interpret, and evaluate customer information and sales data to assist the sales team in targeting sales opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between the Sales and Marketing departments.
  • Work with marketing to ensure proper maintenance of flyers, product documentation, catalogs, and other marketing materials.
  • Prepare professional sales presentations and sales proposals as requested.
  • Ability to create ad hoc reports and maintain standardized reports as needed on a timely basis.
  • Maintain high level of personal productivity and effectiveness. Consistently demonstrate ability to use basic and advanced features of Microsoft Office software and other productivity tools to efficiently prepare presentations, reports, correspondence, and targeted sales campaigns.
  • Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.


  • Currently enrolled or recent graduate in a four-year university, preferably in Marketing or Business
  • Self-directed, with ability to prioritize and support multiple sales representatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Excellent computer skills required.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook skills.
  • Willingness to maintain flexibility in job function in an ever-changing, fast paced environment.
